Wood ant hill discovery

In Northumberland in the United Kingdom a large ant hill colony has been found, it may be the world's largest ant hill ever found. The ant hill measures 5 feet 6 inches (almost 170 cm.) tall and houses around 500,000 ants. That is what you call the "ant equivalent of the Empire State Building"!
